Support in Client Planning, Setup, Training

Our “SUPPORT” section covers the complete lifecycle of your deployment:  initial planning, IT coordination, comprehensive training, future-proofing for seamless expansion, and tech/sales support as needed.

Our Client Planning Process

Do it Right, The First Time!

Like an airline pilot, we don’t just jump into the cockpit and hit the gas. We carefully plan every project and avoid making “blind quotes” without first studying your current systems and requirements. Our goal is to tailor a systems and services package that fits your business needs perfectly.

Step-by-Step Planning
To expedite the quotation and installation process, we follow a transparent 10-point plan:

  1. Write down needs & wants for system updates.

  2. Briefly list key current hardware and active services.

  3. Note problems you are currently experiencing.

  4. NOW Contact Bandwidth to get started!

  5. On-site visit: A Bandwidth representative will stop by to review your setup and summarize your needs.

  6. Formal quotation: We will generate a detailed, transparent quote following our meeting.

  7. Procurement & setup: We procure all equipment and initiate planned service changes.

  8. Installation: Bandwidth staff completes the physical and digital installation.

  9. On-site training: We provide hands-on training as needed for your team.

  10. Follow-up: We check in a few days later to ensure everything is operating properly.

It might look like we are “front-loading” the process with extra effort—and we are! We plan for as much as possible in advance to prevent a slew of costly change orders later.  There is no benefit in wasting your time or money on a confusing project plan.  Let’s do this right the first time!

Installation & Coordination w/local IT staff

Bandwidth Services offers extensive expertise, delivering comprehensive, ground-up networking and systems solutions tailored for small businesses. However, many mid-sized and large enterprises already rely on internal or locally contracted IT teams who possess invaluable, long-term familiarity with the property and its unique infrastructure.

Rather than viewing these teams as competition, we see them as a valuable asset. We prefer to train their staff directly on our systems so they can independently troubleshoot and make adjustments if a system stalls. Ultimately, these on-site professionals enhance our support rather than hinder it.

Basic User & Expanded IT Staff Training

Our primary focus is delivering fast, intuitive training for everyday users. For example, office employees should be able to master basic functions—such as answering and forwarding calls—with minimal effort. To support complex environments like split shifts, remote teams, or dedicated call centers, we also implement a “train-the-trainer” model, empowering department managers to lead localized onboarding.

Additionally, we provide deep-dive technical training for dedicated IT staff wherever possible. Because IT is the first line of defense, a thorough understanding of system operations enables them to quickly resolve minor issues and reduce outages to mere minutes.

Future Proofing & System Systems Scaling

The last thing you want is to add systems or services before you actually need them. However, small, proactive additions today can pay off tenfold tomorrow if your business hits a rapid growth path.

While no one has an IT crystal ball, the most basic preventive measures consistently prove their worth such as the following:

•  Run Extra CAT6 Cabling: Running redundant network lines alongside your immediate installations is one of the safest investments you can make. Because cables are vulnerable to physical wear, contact damage, or rodents, having backup lines readily available is a tremendous operational asset.

•  Install Switches with Extra Ports: Network demands will only continue to grow as you add computers, cameras, printers, and smart-entry systems. Choosing data switches with extra capacity ensures you are ready for expansion. Best of all, this hardware is fully relocatable and reusable, making it a low-risk, high-return investment.
•  Purchase Expandable Hardware:  Buying devices engineered for POE (Power Over Ethernet) always pays off later since networking is rapidly moving to a self-powered topology for nearly everything.
•  Purchase Only Remote Managed Hardware:  The ability to remotely resolve communication issues outweighs virtually every cost savings from single use “dumb” hardware.

There are many more concepts to future-proof your business and we are happy to make suggestions that make sense for your needs.

24/7 Staff Operations & Support

We strive to be the best networking, telecom, and security partner you’ve ever worked with—backed by reliable, 24/7 support.  Thanks to our remote capabilities, we resolve about 90% of issues instantly from afar. Hardware failures occasionally happen, so if needed, we dispatch a technician as soon as possible to restore your systems.

If we engineered and installed your system, much of our equipment features “hot-swap” capabilities for rapid fixes, even if temporary. Just like a trusted power company, our priority is getting you up and running immediately, followed closely by more permanent solutions if needed.
